Awarded the name for its location in a former bottle plant, Flacon (The Bottle) was set up as a set of offices and workspaces for the creative industries inside a carefully transformed industrial estate.
Attracted by the quality of the spaces and the proximity to the city centre, design and media companies moved in and designer showrooms and art exhibitions followed suit. By now, Flacon has become a hub hosting events as diverse as indie publishing festivals, hack days and electronic music concerts. It’s a place that never ceases to surprise, and offers a base for Moscow’s creative and cultural economy.
